Add an Action to an Incident (iOS)

To add an action to an incident using an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 
    • To add an action to any incident, 'Admin' level permissions on the Incidents tool.
    • To add an action to an incident you created, 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the Incidents tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Incidents tool on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Tap the incident you want to add an action to.
  3. Under Actions, tap Add.
  4. Fill out the following fields as appropriate:
    Note: An asterisk (*) denotes a required field.
    • Action Type*: Select an action type from the list. The default type selections in Procore are Corrective and Preventative.
      Note: 
      Additional type options can be added in the Company Admin tool. See Add Custom Options for Incident Fields.
    • Description: Enter any information you want to add to the action's record.
  5. Optional: To add relevant files or photos, tap one of the following options:
    • Camera: Take a photo with your mobile device's camera and add it to the incident.
    • Attachments: Choose a photo or file from your mobile device and add it to the incident.
  6. Tap Save.
