Below are the notable changes to the Procore + Sage 300 CRE® integration in 2020.
Export Subcontractor Invoices with a Custom Description with Sage 300 CRE® (10/16/2020)
Companies integrated with Sage 300 CRE® now have the ability to export subcontractor invoices from Procore to Sage 300 CRE® with a custom description. Prior to export, accounting approvers now have the option to enter a custom description in Procore that will be entered as the description on the invoice in the Sage 300 CRE® AP module. To use this feature, see Accept or Reject Subcontractor Invoices for Export to Sage 300 CRE®.
Billed Rate Transactions with Sage 300 CRE® (7/10/2020)
Companies integrated with Sage 300 CRE® now have the ability to import billed rate transactions from Sage 300 CRE®. This will allow companies to designate specific cost types to pull from the Billed Amount column in the Billing module in Sage 300 CRE®. These transactions will be pulled into the Direct Costs tool as well as the Direct Costs column in the Budget tool. Companies can control the level of detail users can see with the use of granular permissions. Once a cost type is designated as a billed rate cost type, the change will be applied company-wide and it will appear in the configuration settings in the ERP Integrations tool. To set up billed rate transactions, see Enable ERP Billed Rate Transaction Syncing on a Procore Project.
Export Subcontractor Invoices to Sage 300 CRE® (6/2/2020)
For companies that have integrated Procore with Sage 300 CRE®, you can export subcontractor invoices from Procore's Commitments tool to Sage 300 CRE®, saving time and eliminating double-entry. To setup this feature, see Set Up the Export Subcontractor Invoices Feature for Sage 300 CRE®. For more information, see Export Subcontractor Invoices to Sage 300 CRE®.
Include Cost Forecast Data in Budget Exports to Sage 300 CRE® (3/6/2020)
For companies that have integrated Procore with Sage 300 CRE®, you can import your real-time actual cost data from Sage 300 CRE® into Procore's Budget tool. This lets project team's leverage their Sage 300 CRE® cost data with the 'Estimated Cost' value in a Procore budget to calculate the budget's 'Estimated Cost at Completion' and 'Forecast to Complete' values. This ability provides your project's accounting team with the complimentary benefit of being able to access Procore's 'Estimated Cost at Completion' and 'Forecast to Complete' values in Sage 300 CRE®. See ERP Integrations: Include Cost Forecast Data in Budget Exports to Sage 300 CRE.
Import Job Cost Transactions from Sage 300 CRE® into Procore (1/27/2020)
If your Procore company account is integrated with Sage 300 CRE®, you now have the ability to import job cost transaction data from Sage 300 CRE®. Once imported, the lump-sum cost values of those transactions can be viewed in the 'Direct Costs' column on a budget line item. In addition, users who are assigned the appropriate granular permission can also click the value in the 'Direct Costs' column in the budget tool to open a window showing detailed information about the direct cost. See ERP Integrations: Import Sage 300 CRE® Job Cost Transactions to Procore.
