Re-import a Prime Contract from CMiC to Procore
Objective
To re-import a CMiC Prime Contract using the Project Financials + CMiC integration.
Background
The integration between your Prime Contract in CMiC is a one-way sync. This means that you can create a Prime Contract in CMiC and then import it into Procore with the Project Financials + CMiC Connector. You can then choose between:
- Updating and maintaining your Prime Contract in Procore, or
- Updating and maintaining your Prime Contract in CMiC and then using the steps below to re-import your latest Prime Contract data into Procore.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permission:
- 'Admin' level permission on the ERP Integrations tool.
AND - 'Admin' level permission on the Project level Prime Contracts tool.
- 'Admin' level permission on the ERP Integrations tool.
- Prerequisites:
The instructions below assume the following:- The Company level ERP Integrations tool has been configured to work with your company's Procore account. See CMiC: Setup Guide.
- The CMiC Prime Contract that you want to sync with Procore has been updated. For example, you've added one or more line item(s) or changed existing line item(s).
- Additional Information:
You will not be able to re-import a Prime Contract when:- The Prime Contract is in an unapproved state.
- The Prime Contract does not belong to a synced job.
- The Prime Contract has inadvertently been added to two projects in your company's Procore account.
Steps
- Navigate to the Company level ERP Integrations tool.
This reveals the Integration page. - Click the Prime Contracts tab.
- Click the Synced link in the right sidebar.
- Locate the desired project's budget in the CMiC Prime Contracts Ready to be Imported list.
- Click Re-Import.
Note: If this button is grayed out and unavailable, there are no new line items in the CMiC Prime Contract to import.
