Procore Android App: Update Required for Older App Versions

This announcement represents a single point in time. Future releases may impact the information below.
Updated: June 7, 2023

Update the Procore App to the Latest Version

Procore was forced to accelerate the end of support for Android app versions earlier than 2022.1026.1435 (released late October 2022). Google disabled a security related API on June 7th, 2023, and older Android app versions use this Google API to fetch Certificate Transparency information. Certificate Transparency is used by our app to detect forged or otherwise invalid certificates allowing our app to ensure the highest level of network link security (TLS) when communicating with Procore servers.

If you are using an older app version, we highly recommend updating your Procore Android app as soon as possible to ensure the highest level of security. See Update the Procore Android App.

What happens if I'm still using an older app version?

While earlier versions of the app will continue to function for a period of time, Procore will end support entirely in the near future to avoid degraded network link security (weakened man-in-the-middle mitigation). We strongly advise all Procore Android users to upgrade to the latest app version as soon as possible so their apps remain secure and operational.
