Enhancements for Adding a Company to your Directory

We are enhancing the ability to add companies to your directory by improving search and enabling you to save existing companies in Procore to your Directory, avoiding manual data entry.

The Procore Construction Network is a network of construction businesses such as contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers that you can connect with to work on your projects.

We have improved the search functionality within your Directory when creating a company, and have added the ability to save businesses listed on the Procore Construction Network straight from your Directory. By saving these companies, we are making it easier for you to connect with businesses already in Procore so you can use new collaboration features as they become available.

Company Directory

When adding companies to the Company level Directory, you can first explore existing companies listed on the Procore Construction Network. If you find the company you're looking for, simply save it to your Directory as a connected company. Information in the company's profile is automatically added to the record in your Directory. If you do not find the company you're looking for, you can still manually create companies.

Project Directory

When adding a company to your Project level Directory, you can first search your Company level Directory and add companies to your project that you already work with. New search functionality allows you to easily find companies based on their DBA, Abbreviated Name, ABN/EIN, Zip Code, Email Address, or Phone Number.

If the company is not in your Company level Directory, you can also search the Procore Construction Network and quickly save companies to your Directory as  connected companies. Information in the company's profile is automatically added to the record in your Directory. If you do not find the company you're looking for, you can still manually create companies like you do today.
