Admin (Company Level)

Added New Enable Docusign Checkbox (1/11/2018)

Added "Enable Docusign" checkbox to the company level Admin tool on the Project Settings page under 'Default Project Settings'. This gives Procore Administrators the ability to enable the Docusign integration on all projects within the company by default. The setting affects new and existing projects. See Configure Your Company's Default Project Settings.

Added a new Prevent Overbilling On All Projects Checkbox to Company Level Admin Tool (1/4/2018)

Added a new checkbox named 'Prevent Overbilling on All Projects' to the Project Settings page of the Company Level Admin tool. If you place a mark in this checkbox, the over billing settings in the Project level Admin tool's Advanced Settings and the Project level Commitment tool's settings pages cannot be modified, the checkboxes will be disabled, and requisitions cannot be over billed.

Directory (Company Level)

Updated 'Add Filter' in Companies Tab of Directory To Reflect Cost Code Configuration (2/14/2018)

Updated the selections in the 'Add Filter' drop-down list for the Company and Project level Directory tools. Now, if the company account is using an ERP integration (e.g., Dexter + Chaney Spectrum, QuickBooks, Sage 300 CRE, or Viewpoint Vista), the available selection in the list will show the appropriate cost code types that are available (e.g., Sage 300 CRE Cost Code, QuickBooks Cost Code, and so on). If the ERP Integrations tool is NOT enabled, this selection reads 'Cost Code' or 'Company Name Cost Code.'

Now Showing ABN/EIN in Company Directory (Beta View) (2/8/2018)

Updated the Company Directory (Beta View) so it now shows the Australian Business Number (ABN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).

Updated the Group by Company View to Show ERP IDs (2/8/2018)

Updated the 'Group by Company' view in the Company and Project Directory tools so it nows shows the ERP ID for the vendor (if the ERP Integrations tool is enabled and the vendor is synced with the integrated ERP system). 

Added 'Synced' icons for Vendors in the Company Directory Synced with ERP Integrations (2/9/2018)

Updated the Company Directory so that now, if the ERP Integrations tool is enabled and vendor record has successfully synced with an integrated ERP system, the 'Synced' ERP icon appears. See What do the ERP icons mean?

Updated the 'Respond to Punch Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company' Granular Permission (2/2/2018)

Updated the Company Directory to correct the verbiage of the Punch List tool's granular permission. The word 'Private' was removed from the label, so it now reads 'Respond to Punch Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company', instead of 'Respond to Private Punch Items Assigned to Users within Same Company.' This label update was to clarify that the permission grants a user the privilege to respond to punch items assigned to other users within the same Procore company account. This includes responding to punch items marked as 'Private'.

Improved the 'Permission Template (Assigned)' Selections in Add Filter Menu (2/1/2018)

Updated both the Company and Project level Directory Tool (Beta View) to improve the Permission Template (Assigned) list in the Add Filter menu. Now, the checkbox options are sorted in alphabetical order, making permission templates easier to find. 

Added New Filter Option To Company Directory (1/8/2018)

Added a 'Permission Template' option to the Add Filter drop-down in the Company Directory (Beta View).

Added New Menu Option To 'Group By' Drop-Down List In Company Directory (1/8/2018)

Added a 'None' selection the Group By drop-down list in the Users view in the Company Directory (Beta View).

Added Locale-Specific Information About The Checkboxes In the Bidding Tab (1/4/2018)

Updated the Company level Directory tool's Bidder Info tab of a company record to provide end users with locale-specific information about the use of the checkboxes. See Set Bidder Information at the Company Level.

Consolidated Columns in the Users And Companies Views (1/4/2018)

Updated the Users and Companies views in the Company level Directory tool (Beta View) so that now, the Email, Phone, and Fax information for a users is combined into a single column. Also updated the Address column so it now combines the Address, City, State, and ZIP.  In addition, changed the list order to be from most requested record to last requested record. See (BETA) Customize the Column Display in the Directory Tool.

Changed The Default Setting For The 'Permission Template (Assigned)' Column (1/4/2018)

Updated the 'Users' view on the Company level Directory tools (Beta View) so that now, the 'Permission Template (Assigned)' column is hidden by default. To turn the column back ON, simply click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) at the top-right on the table and then mark the 'Permission Templates (Assigned)' check box. New Row Height Options In Beta View Company Directory (1/2/2018)

Updated the 'Users' view of the Company Directory (Beta View) tool to provide end users with the ability to customize the row height of the line items in the table. End users now click the vertical ellipsis on the upper right side of the table to view the 'Row Height' customization options on the bottom of the popup menu in the 'Users' view. ERP Integrations (Company Level)

Updated ERP Icon Color Scheme (2/16/2018)

If your company has enabled the ERP Integrations tool for use with an integrated ERP system, color-coded icons and ribbons appear in relevant areas of Procore. This visually highlights the data, to help you quickly identify its current state. For details, see ERP Integrations: Updated Color Scheme for ERP Icons.

Updated 'Add Filter' in Companies Tab of Directory Tools To Reflect Cost Code Configuration (2/14/2018)

Updated the Prime Contract Amount on the 'Ready to Import' page of the ERP Integrations tool. The system now syncs new Prime Contract Amount data (if available) in the integrated ERP system on each scheduled sync and each on-demand sync for the ERP-integrated project.

Added Sage 300 CRE Standard Cost Codes to Project Directory Tool's Add Filter Drop-Down List (2/07/2018)

Updated the Project Directory (Beta View) so that now, if your company has enabled the ERP Integrations tool, the Add Filter drop-down list in the Companies view shows 'Sage 300 Cost Codes' as a filter option. Prior to this update, the 'Cost Codes' filter showed the Sage 300 CRE Cost Codes, but it was not explicitly labeled.

New Inspection Response Options (2/15/2018)

When creating an inspection template, you now have the option to configure the inspection responses to “Safe” / “At-Risk”. This option is available in addition to the response set “Pass / Fail” and allows you to reflect the language of a safety inspection. See Inspections: New Inspection Response Options.

Portfolio (Company Level)

Now Showing More Requisition Info in My Open Items (2/22/2018)

Updated the Company level Portfolio tool and the Project level Home page so that the 'My Open Items' area now displays both the Requisition Number and Billing Period information in the 'Details' field. This information comes from the Project level Commitments tool. Prior to this update, the My Open Items table only displayed the Requisition Number. Updated Password Banner To Provide First Time End Users With More Clarity (1/27/2018)

Updated the change password banners in Procore's Portfolio tool so the banner now reads 'Set Password' instead of 'Reset Password." This makes it more clear for first-time end users of Procore that his or her password has been set. See Change Your Password.

Added Direct Costs Items to My Open Items (1/12/2018)

Updated the Company level Portfolio tool so that now items from the Direct Costs tool will now appear if you are the Ball in Court person on the corresponding item.

Reports (Company Level)

Added 'Timesheet Status' Column To Custom Reports (2/21/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the 'Timesheets Status' column for the Timesheets tool to custom reports. When a report includes this column, users can filter and sort data by PendingApproved, or Blank. As illustrated below, authors can drag-and-drop the new column to include it in the report. Then, when the report is published, end users can apply their desired filter/sort options to organize items by status. See Reports: Added 'Timesheet Status' Column to Custom Reports.

Dashboards Chart Now Show Loading State In Sidebar (2/14/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add a loading state indicator in the sidebar. This allows users to view Dashboards before all charts are loaded.

Added 'Sub Job Code' Column to Custom Timesheet Reports (2/14/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add 'Sub Job Code' to the 'Timesheets - Available Columns' list in custom Timesheet reports. Note: In a timesheet, both the 'Sub Job Name' and 'Sub Job Code' are associated with a timesheet when the person creating or editing the timesheet specifies a 'Sub Job'. See Create a Timesheet

New 'Substantial Completion Dates' for Custom Prime Contract Report (2/13/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the 'Original Substantial Completion Date' and 'Revised Substantial Completion Date' to the 'Prime Contract - Available Columns' list when creating a custom report for the Prime Contract tool. This adds the columns to your report and also as a selection in the published report's Add Filter drop-down list. Columns are only available when (1) The field is enabled under 'Contract Dates' area on the Project Level Prime Contract tool's Configure Settings page AND (2) the dates are accurate. 

Added 'Contract Dates' to Custom Commitment Reports (2/12/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the following items to the 'Commitments-Available Columns' list when creating a custom report for the Commitments tool:  Approval Letter Date, Contract Date, Issued On Date, Execution Date, Letter of Intent Date, and Returned Date. This adds each field to the list of filters in the published report's Add Filter drop-down list. Columns are only available when (1) The field is enabled under 'Contract Dates' area on the Project Level Commitment tool's Configure Settings page AND (2) the dates are accurate. Expanded Direct Cost 'Type' Filtering In 'Financial Line Item Details' Custom Report (2/5/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to expand the filtering capability of the 'Type' column in the 'Financial Line Item Details' custom report. After the report is built, users can now select 'Type' from the Add Filter drop-down list and then mark the desired checkboxes (i.e.,  Direct Cost Expense, Direct Cost Invoice, Direct Cost Payroll, or Direct Cost Subcontract Invoice) to narrow data in the report to the selected filters.  

Changed Column Name from 'Recipient' to 'Invited Recipient' for Bidding Custom Reports (2/2/2018)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tool to rename a column associated with report data from the Project level Bidding tool. The 'Recipient' column is now named 'Invited Recipient' for more clarity. 

Prime Total in Summary Tab Now Includes Financial Markup (1/17/2018)

Updated the Change Events (Next Gen) tool so that financial markup (Vertical and Horizontal) is now included in the 'Prime Total' column of the Change Events tool's Summary tab. This change also affects the Potential Change Orders and Change Event custom reports feature in the Reports tools.

Added Printer Icon for QR Codes in Project Admin Tool (2/9/2018)

Updated the Locations page under Project Settings to change the vertical ellipsis (⋮) icon, which was formerly used to print QR codes. The Locations page now shows a Printer icon to provide users with more clarity about the page's print function. 

Added Print QR Code options for Tiered Locations (2/9/2018)

Updated the 'What to Print' area of the Print QR Code window to provide users with the ability to choose between printing only QR codes for the selected tier or printing all QR codes under the selected tier. 

Added Ability to Print QR Codes To Avery 6460 Format (1/27/2018)

Users can now export 30 location QR codes per page in a format that is compatible with Avery 6460 labels. See Locations: Print Location QR Codes to Avery 6460 Labels and Generate and Print QR Codes for Locations.

Added Ability to Generate Up to 500 QR Codes at a Time (1/27/2018)

Updated the Admin tool's Locations page to add a new window that allows a user to select up to 500 individual locations when generated a QR code for a location. See Generate and Print QR Codes for Locations.

New 'Print QR' Option To Print Location QR Codes In Bulk (1/8/2018)

Added a new 'Print QR' option to provide end users with the ability to print multiple QR codes from the Admin tool. To use the new setting, navigate to the Company level Admin tool. Under Project Settings, click Locations. Then click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) and select Print QR. In the window that appears, mark the checkboxes that correspond to the desired Locations. You can print up to 500 QR codes in one session. See Generate and Print QR Codes for Locations.

Change Orders (Project Level)

Now Setting Value in Executed Field to 'No' When User Clicks Withdraw (2/8/2018)

Implemented a change that affects the Prime Contract, Commitments, and Change Orders tools so that if a user clicks 'Withdraw' on the DocuSign banner in Procore and then confirms to withdraw the Docusign envelope, the value in the 'Executed' field is set back to 'No.'

Added 'Edit' Button To Procore + DocuSign Integration Banners (1/19/2018) 

Added a new 'Edit' Button on the Signature Pending and Signature Completed banners that display for end users who are using the Procore + DocuSign Integration (see DocuSign). When a user clicks this button, the system reveals the Edit page of the DocuSign envelope. Banners have been updated in the Commitments, Change Orders,  and Documents tools. See What do the different DocuSign banners in Procore mean?

Added New 'Sign with DocuSign' Checkbox To Approved Change Orders (1/18/2018) 

Added a new 'Sign with DocuSign' checkbox to 'Approved' Change Orders, Prime Contract Change Orders (PCCOs), and Prime Potential Change Orders (PPCOs). Placing a mark in this checkbox enables the 'Complete with DocuSign' button.

Commitments (Project Level)

Updated the Commitments tool (Requisitions) and the Prime Contract tool (Payment Applications) to add the automatically placed "Signature" and "Date Signed" fields (tags) to the DocuSign Envelope.

Status Changes to 'Approved' After Completed DocuSign Signature (2/14/2018)

Implemented a change on the Project level Commitments tool (for work order and purchase order contracts) and also on the Project level Prime Contract tool so that now the items status changes to 'Approved' after e-signatures are completed in DocuSign.

Invoice Contact Now Populates DocuSign Envelopes for Requisitions (2/14/2018)

Implemented a change so that each 'Invoice Contact' on a commitment will automatically populate on the DocuSign envelope as a 'Subcontractor' recipient for requisitions.

New Confirmation Messages for the Procore + DocuSign Integration (2/5/2018)

Added new confirmation messages that appear when (1) a user clicks the 'Void' button on the BLUE DocuSign Pending Banner or (2) a user clicks the 'Withdraw' button on the GREEN DocuSign Complete Banner. This new message prompts the user to confirm the void or withdraw action and appears in the Commitments, Documents, and Prime Contract tools when the Procore + DocuSign integration is enabled.

DocuSign Signature Completion Updates Change Order Status to 'Approved' (2/5/2018) 

For companies using the Procore + DocuSign integration, we've updated the Project level Commitments and Project level Prime Contract tool so that now, when signatures are completed in DocuSign for a change order, its status is updated to 'Approved'. This applies to Prime Contract Change Orders, Potential Change Orders, and Commitment Change Orders. 

Added the Procore + DocuSign Integration to Requisitions (1/30/2018) 

Updated the project's Commitments tool to add the Procore + DocuSign Integration to requisitions. 

Added 'Edit' Button To Procore + DocuSign Integration Banners (1/19/2018) 

Added a new 'Edit' Button on the Signature Pending and Signature Completed banners that display for end users who are using the Procore + DocuSign Integration (see DocuSign). When a user clicks this button, the system reveals the Edit page of the DocuSign envelope. Banners have been updated in the Commitments, Change Orders,  and Documents tools. Added SSOV Detail Line Items To Commitment Contract PDFs (1/5/2018) 

Added subcontractor schedule of values (SSOV) detail line items to be displayed by default on the commitments contract PDF for both work order and purchase order contracts that have SSOV enabled.

Daily Log (Project Level)

Added Ability to Show 'Trade' Field in Daily Log's Manpower Log (2/7/2018)

Added a new 'Show the Trade Field on the Manpower Log' checkbox to the Daily Log > Configure Settings > Project Settings page. When a user with 'Admin' level permission places a checkmark in this box, the system adds the 'Trade' field to the Manpower Log.

Updated Calendar Control for Selecting Dates (1/23/2018) 

Added new styling and options on the new date control in the Daily Log to allow users to jump back to the current date more easily. See Daily Log: Updated Calendar Control For Selecting Dates.

New Daily Log Calendar Control for Dates (1/17/2018)

Added a new date control in the Daily Log to allow users to jump back to the current date more easily. This was designed for busy superintendents who previously didn't have the ability to jump back to previous dates. You can now click a new 'Previous Day' button to quickly catch up on your daily log data-entry.

Drawings (Project Level)

Added New Banner To Alert User About Maximum Number of Drawing Downloads With Smart Markup (2/14/2018)

The Project level Drawings tool permits you to download a maximum of 1000 drawings with smart markup. If your download attempt exceeds this limit, a banner appears to alert you of this limit. 

Added Multi-Select Markup to Drawings Tool (2/9/2018)

Updated the Drawings tool's Fullscreen Viewer to add the ability for users with publishing access to be able to press SHIFT + Click to bulk select and publish or delete markup. Users without publish access will now have the ability to SHIFT + Click their personal markup and have the option to bulk delete. Also, if a user tries to delete markup elements with attachments, a message appears to confirm the delete action.

Added Scrolling on Drawing Review Page with UP/DOWN Arrow Keys (2/5/2018)

Users can now scroll through the drawings on the Drawing Review page by pressing the UP/DOWN arrow keys on their computer's keyboard.

Download PDF Drawings with Smart Markups from Email Messages (2/5/2018) 

When sending a drawing to a project users from the Drawings tool, your recipients can now click the 'Download Markup' link in the message to download a PDF copy of the drawing that now supports vector-based smart markup. Note: Keep in mind that smart markups on drawing files only show the markups that were present at the time the email was sent. This is a follow-on update related to Drawings: Download with Smart Markup.

Redesigned the Upload Window for the Photos Tool (1/30/2018)

Updated the project's Photos tool to redesign the window used to upload a photo. This new window improves the user experience by providing you with the ability to perform the following tasks all at once: upload a photo, select a trade, choose the album for the upload, and attach a location.

Added a 'Confirm All' Button to New Review Page (1/26/2018)

Updated the New Drawing Review Page to add a new 'Confirm All' button that allows users to confirm uploaded drawings in batches of ten (10).

Now Showing More Requisition Info in My Open Items (2/22/2018)

Updated the Company level Portfolio tool and the Project level Home page so that the 'My Open Items' area now displays both the Requisition Number and Billing Period information in the 'Details' field. This information comes from the Project level Commitments tool. Prior to this update, the My Open Items table only displayed the Requisition Number. New Inspection Response Options (2/15/2018)

When creating an inspection template, you now have the option to configure the inspection responses to “Safe” / “At-Risk”. Added Ability to Edit Inspection Numbers (2/5/2018)

Updated the Inspections tool to provide end users with the ability to edit inspection numbers. If a user attempts to change an inspection number to a number that is already used, the system displays a message that gives the user to click 'Use Next Available Number' or 'Continue' (which assigns the selected inspection the duplicate number).

Added a Default Distribution List To the Configure Settings Page (2/2/2018)

Updated the Project level Inspections tool to add a new Default Distribution drop-down list on the Inspection Settings page. This provides users with the ability to set a default distribution list for new inspections.

Updated the Observations tool to add new root cause analysis fields named, 'Hazard', 'Contributing Condition', and 'Contributing Behavior'. These fields are available in new observations created with the Observations tool (see Create an Observation) and new observations created in the Inspections tool (see Create an Observation from an Inspection). Now Setting Value in Executed Field to 'No' When User Clicks Withdraw (2/8/2018)

Implemented a change that affects the Prime Contract, Commitments, and Change Orders tools so that if a user clicks 'Withdraw' on the DocuSign banner in Procore and then confirms to withdraw the Docusign envelope, the value in the 'Executed' field is set back to 'No.'

New Confirmation Messages for the Procore + DocuSign Integration (2/5/2018)

Added new confirmation messages that appear when (1) a user clicks the 'Void' button on the BLUE DocuSign Pending Banner or (2) a user clicks the 'Withdraw' button on the GREEN DocuSign Complete Banner. This new message prompts the user to confirm the void or withdraw action and appears in the Commitments, Documents, and Prime Contract tools when the Procore + DocuSign integration is enabled.

DocuSign Signature Completion Updates Change Order Status to 'Approved' (2/5/2018) 

For companies using the Procore + DocuSign integration, we've updated the Project level Commitments and Project level Prime Contract tool so that now, when signatures are completed in DocuSign for a change order, its status is updated to 'Approved'. This applies to Prime Contract Change Orders, Potential Change Orders, and Commitment Change Orders. 

Added the Procore + DocuSign Integration to Payment Applications (1/27/2018)

Updated the project's Prime Contract tool to team's using the Procore + DocuSign integration (see DocuSign) with the ability to sign Payment Applications. 

Enhanced Cost Code Display In Payment Application and Requisition Detail (1/12/2018)

Updated the Cost Code column on the table in the Payment Application and Requisition Detail tab so it is now left-aligned. Also updated the column so that if the cost code is too long to fit in the display area, an ellipsis (…) will appear to the right of the code. If a user hovers over the ellipsis, the full cost code will now appear in a tool tip.

Pre-filled Header Information For Summary Page On Owner Invoice (1/4/2018)

Updated the create, edit, and show pages for Payment Application. Now, the Commitment Billing Period field is the first field on the page. Also updated the create page so that the Period Start and Period End dates are prefilled with the same dates as the selected Commitment Billing Period. The Commitment Billing Period will be automatically prefilled with the last Billing Period. The invoice number field will also be prefilled with the Payment Application number.

Updated the 'Respond to Punch Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company' Granular Permission (2/2/2018)

Updated the Company Directory to correct the verbiage of the Punch List tool's granular permission. The word 'Private' was removed from the label, so it now reads 'Respond to Punch Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company', instead of 'Respond to Private Punch Items Assigned to Users within Same Company.' This label update was to clarify that the permission grants a user the privilege to respond to punch items assigned to other users within the same Procore company account. This includes responding to punch items marked as 'Private'.

Expanded Direct Cost 'Type' Filtering In 'Financial Line Item Details' Custom Report (2/5/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to expand the filtering capability of the 'Type' column in the 'Financial Line Item Details' custom report. After the report is built, users can now select 'Type' from the Add Filter drop-down list and then mark the desired checkboxes (i.e.,  Direct Cost Expense, Direct Cost Invoice, Direct Cost Payroll, or Direct Cost Subcontract Invoice) to narrow data in the report to the selected filters.  

Changed Column Name from 'Recipient' to 'Invited Recipient' for Bidding Custom Reports (2/2/2018)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tool to rename a column associated with report data from the Project level Bidding tool. The 'Recipient' column is now named 'Invited Recipient' for more clarity. 

Prime Total in Summary Tab Now Includes Financial Markup (1/17/2018)

Updated the Change Events (Next Gen) tool so that financial markup (Vertical and Horizontal) is now included in the 'Prime Total' column of the Change Events tool's Summary tab. This change also affects the Potential Change Orders and Change Event custom reports feature in the Reports tools.

Export PDFs Now Use a File Naming Convention

Updated the Project level RFIs tool so that now, when the system downloads a PDF file using the Export > All Responses or Export > Official Responses Only menu options, Procore now allows users to download a file that can be more easily identified. The PDF file name now starts with the following file naming convention: <Project Name>-<RFI Number>-<RFI Title>.

Eliminated Redundant Email Notifications (1/30/2018)

Updated the RFIs tool to eliminate a number of redundant email notifications being sent to users who perform actions on RFIs. When a person designated as an RFI Manager is also the person who creates a 'Draft' or 'Open' RFI, the system will no longer send that RFI Manager a notification email. Likewise, if the Assignee on a RFI performs an action, that Assignee will no longer receive a notification email from the system. Other users who have permission to perform actions on RFIs and then update an RFI will also not be notified. 

New 'Include Sublocations' Option in Add Filter Drop-Down List (1/4/2017)

Added Drag-and-Drop Support On Submittal Workflow For IE11 Users (2/6/2018)

Internet Explorer 11 users can now use a drag-and-drop operation to change the order of the workflow steps on the submittal workflow. See Submittals: Added Drag-and-Drop Support On Submittal Workflow For Internet Explorer 11 Users.

Submittals: Updated Button/Banner Behavior When Distributing Submittals (2/5/2018)

Improved the button and banner behavior in the Submittals tool to clarify the state of a submittal workflow. This improves the experience for end users who are responsible for distributing a submittal. See Distribute a Submittal and Redistribute a Submittal. Updates include:

  • While the submittal workflow is in progress, a BLUE 'Workflow in Progress banner appears when viewing the submittal. 
  • When the required submittal workflow is completed, a GREEN 'Workflow is Complete' banner displays along with either a 'Close and Distribute' or 'Close and Redistribute' button. 
  • After a submittal is successfully distributed, a GREEN banner appears at the top of the submittal to confirm the distribute action. 
  • In addition, the Redistribute link that once appeared in the GOLD 'Submittal Distributed' banner is now a Redistribute button in the right pane.
Rearrange Approvers In New Submittal Workflow Widget (1/30/2018)

Updated the Submittals tool so that you can now rearrange the order of your approvers in a submittal workflow. This update is NOT currently supported for users with the Internet Explorer browser.  

Access Custom Reports on the Submittals Tool Sidebar (1/30/2018)

Now, when you create a custom report that includes data from the Submittals tool, those reports will appear in the right sidebar of the Submittals tool. The will be listed from most to least recent. In addition, clicking the Create New link now launches the project's Reports tool (instead of the legacy version of the Submittals report tool). See Create a Custom Submittals Report.

Mark Submittal Approvers as Required to Respond (1/29/2018)

You can now mark which Approvers/Submitters are required to respond in the Submittal Workflow to shift the ball-in-court. If nobody is marked as required within a step, the first Approver/Submitter to respond will shift the ball-in-court to the next step in the workflow. Added Inline Editing on Package View (1/24/2018)

Updated the Submittals tool so now the 'Sent Date' and 'Return Date' for a single approver on a submittal package can be edited inline. 

Now Distribute Submittals After One Reviewer Response (1/17/2018) 

​​​​​Users can now distribute a submittal before all of the designated users on the submittal workflow have responded. Now, you can distribute a submittal after one (1) user submits a response. See Distribute a Submittal.

Updated "Set As Ball In Court Link" For New Workflow Groups (1/17/2018) 

Added the Number (#) column back to the Submittal Workflow table. The number will appears once per line item (a.k.a., submittal group). Also updated the label on a link from  'Set as Ball In Court' to "Set Group to Ball In Court" for added clarify. The 'Edit Response' link will still show up for each individual in the workflow group. 

New Submittals Workflow for Approvers in General Release (1/16/2018) 

Procore deployed a new submittal workflow model to provide your users with more flexibility when setting the approval path for a submittal. This deployment is complete and the new model prevents project users with 'Admin' level permission on the Submittals tool from having to specifically configure the tool to use sequential approval or parallel approval. The new submittal workflow table will be rolled out to all Procore accounts and will allow your users to create and edit submittals that use either sequential, parallel, or a combination of both approval models. Procore has updated internationalized its onboarding experience so that its SMS/Text Message link now supports relevant country codes.
