Final Report Process

  2. Save as PDF
  1. Unhide all
  2. Re-run appearance profiler or otherwise ensure trade models are all set to KAST standard colors
    1. Trade Model Color Coding
  3. Run clash test one last time
  4. Review all Clash Groups for naming, assignments, and status
    1. Delete all "unassigned" from comments on all clash groups
    2. Approved clash groups
      1. clash group name starts with "00"
      2. Assigned to "APPROVED"
        1. May have explanation if it is a previously discussed clash that was later approved
      3. Ensure that all approved items that have associated RFIs include the RFI number in the comments
    3. Owner & A/E Assigned Clash Groups
      1. Clash group name starts with "000"
      2. Assigned to correct entity(ies)
        1. Owner
        2. A/E
        3. Other (municipality, AHJ, etc.)
      3. Comments include
        1. Description of missing information
        2. RFI# if applicable
        3. Status set to "Active"
    4. Field assigned clash groups
      1. clash group name starts with "0000"
      2. assigned to "FIELD"
        1. include comment as to what field is to do with clash
      3. Status set to "Reviewed"
    5. Walls, Slabs, etc.
      1. All previously ignored clash groups to be set to "approved", see notes above
  5. All Clash Group views
    1. to be set to "top"
    2. Orientation to match contract drawings
    3. To include markups to "save" the view
      1. Approved clash groups not otherwise containing markups should have clash group name copy/pasted to markups
  6. Save Clash Test
    1. Re-Name Clash Test to include "FINAL" at the beginning of the name
    2. Set isolation to "Dim Other"
    3. Check Statuses on Report" tab
      1. New
      2. Active
      3. Reviewed
      4. Approved
    4. Write Report
      1. As Viewpoints
        1. Move into sub-folder for level
      2. As HTML Tabular
        1. Save to clash reports folder for area/level
        2. Save-As MHT file
  7. Save NWF
  8. Create folder for Level/Area in 450.FINAL
    1. Name folder [LEVEL OR AREA] [PROJECT ABBREVIATION] FINAL [DATE OF SIGN OFF]
      1. e.g. L01 TMS FINAL 190425 folder name for the Level 01 Final signoff for The Mark Sarasota project on 25 April 2019
  9. Create Record Model
    1. Save-As NWF to FINAL folder for Level/Area
      1. [PROJ ABBRV] FINAL COORD [LEVEL] [DATE]
    2. Delete all saved viewpoints except
      1. Level view
      2. Final clash test in question
    3. Delete all trade and base models not associated with this Level/Area
    4. Delete all other clash tests
    5. Save NWF
    6. Save-As NWD
  10. Populate "Final" folder
    1. Copy all relevant trade models
      1. Include riser models, if applicable
    2. Copy all relevant shell models
      1. Typical Minimum
        1. Structural
        2. Architectural
      2. Other possible files
        1. Clearances
        2. Civil
    3. Copy final clash report (MHT Only)
