Bio
Dr. Wes Collins is an Associate Professor in the McWhorter School of Building Science at Auburn University. He completed his Ph.D. in Construction Management from Arizona State University and has over 20-years of construction industry and academic experience. Collins has completed projects funded by the Construction Industry Institute, the Associated General Contractors, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Current research interests include how preconstruction professionals can be upskilled to meet the needs of “Construction 4.0”, creating tools to lessen the learning curve for industry practitioners that transition into academic roles, and general construction education topics focused on preconstruction and project management coursework.
