Tulio Sulbaran

Bio

Dr. Tulio Sulbaran Ph.D. is a professor in the Construction Management division at the University of Texas – San Antonio (UTSA). He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in Construction Management and a minor in Computer Engineering. Dr. Sulbaran has over 20 years of research experience. He has submitted as PI/Co-PI over one hundred and fifty five (155) proposals and has been awarded over sixty four (64) externally funded projects totaling millions of dollars (as the principal investigator and main budgetary authority). Dr. Sulbaran has received funding from several organizations such as: The National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Transportation, Mississippi Department of Transportation, Texas Department of Transportation, Transportation Research Board, Northrop Grumman, Mississippi Development Authority, Army Corp of Engineers, and Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and City of San Antonio among others.

Dr. Sulbaran has also been very prolific in the area of scholarship over authoring ninety (90) peer-reviewed national/international publications, written several books and made over two hundred, and forty (240) professional presentations. Dr. Sulbaran’s manuscripts have been published in: The International Journal of Technology, Knowledge and Society; The International Journal of Virtual Reality, Journal of Marketing Education, Marketing Education Review Journal, IEEE- Frontier in Education, American Society of Engineering Education Proc., among others.
