Below are notable changes to the Procore for IOS application in 2017.

  • We've added a description field to Timecards. Now users can add additional comments to Timesheet entries.
  • Employees can now sign a Timesheet entry on the foreman/superintendent's mobile device to verify the hours entered are correct.

  • Now with our Assemble integration you can view 3D BIM models seamlessly from Procore!

  • Fixed: The dashboard for RFIs was not showing progress and count correctly. Now RFIs will show accurate overview.

  • Fixed: We had a bug in Submittals where you could not search properly. The list now searches like a dream.

  • Fixed: The ability to add photo captions on iPhone is back.

  • Fixed: If you have granular permissions enabled we fixed an issue with the vendor list so you can now create Manpower and Construction Report Logs.

  • You can now filter RFIs by Due Date and Location and we'll remember the filters you've applied in the RFI tool. 
  • Punch Items can now be resolved while offline.
  • We can now alert you to the status of your uploads. We'll let you know if the upload isn't finished.
  • Fixed: If you asked Procore to keep you logged in, we now keep you logged in. Apologies for any frustration caused.

  • By default, we now upload a smaller file size for photo attachments so that they sync faster. If you prefer to upload the full quality image to Procore, you can change this in Settings. We still save the full quality version to your camera roll if you have that option enabled so you can upload that later when you have a faster connection.

Procore significantly improved the navigation in the Procore for iPhone app. Now, the app launches with the Home page showing your open items, project overview, schedule, recent photos, and more. Users will also find a tab bar at the bottom that will allows for one-touch access to Drawings.

  • Automatically publish Punch items on Drawings.
  • View your company contacts in the Directory tool.
  • Redesigned the Meetings tool so it is easier to use and understand.
  • Share Observations (via text, email, etc.) to people outside of the Project Directory. 
  • Added the 'Responsible Contractor' and 'Received From' fields to the RFIs tool.
  • Now supporting multiple RFI Assignees for customers (Note: This will be useful when support for the Multiple Assignees feature is released in the Procore web application. This feature is coming soon).

  • Procore now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with third-party Identity Providers. Integrations with Microsoft Azure and Okta are currently available, with more coming on the way! Please work with your System Administrator to get SSO enabled today.
