Take and Add Photos to an Album (iOS)

Objective

To take and add photos to an album from an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission: 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the project's Photos tool.

Steps

To Take a Photo and Add it to an Album 

You can take a new photo from the Quick Action menu on the app's Dashboard, or landing page. Tap the + icon, and tap Take Photo

  1. Navigate to your project's Photos tool on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Tap the camera icon (2018-05-08_14-57-16.png).
  3. Tap the Album bar to select the album to which you want to save your photo(s).
    Note: If no album is selected, the photo(s) will save to the album 'Unclassified' by default.

  4. Position your camera and tap the shutter release button to take the desired photo(s).
    Note: This action automatically captures and saves the photo(s) to your project.
  5. Optional: Tap the photo thumbnail to delete the photo(s) or add markups.
    Note: Only 'Admin' level users on the Photos tool can delete a photo.
  6. Tap Close to exit the camera.

To Add a Photo from Your Phone to an Album 

  1. Navigate to your project's Photos tool on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Tap the camera icon (2018-05-08_14-57-16.png).
  3. Tap the Gallery thumbnail.  
  4. Select the photos you want to add to Procore's Photos tool.
  5. Tap Done
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Optional: Tap the photo to add a description, edit, or mark up a photo.
  8. Tap Upload Photo(s).
