Add Photos to a Drawing (iOS)

Also available on

Objective

To link photos to a drawing on an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
  • Prerequisites:
    1. The Photos tool must be enabled on the project.
    2. Choose which album you want your photos to be added to.
Note: If nothing is selected, the default location is an album called, "Photos from Drawings"
    3. Determine if you want to mark all photos private by default in the Photos tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • Photos added to drawings will populate in the Photos tool under an album called "Photos from Drawings." An "Origin" field will populate on the photo, which will indicate that the photo was uploaded via the Drawings tool.
Note: Photo(s) from a markup will only show in the "Photos from Drawings" album if the markup is published.
  • This action can be performed in offline mode (i.e. when an active network connection is not available on your mobile device) if the drawing(s) have already been downloaded to the device. Tasks performed in offline mode will be synced with Procore once a network connection has been reestablished.
