Create and Manage Custom Submittal Markup Stamps

Objective

To create and manage custom stamps to use when reviewing submittal PDF attachments.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • You must be the current Ball In Court for a submittal.
  • Limitations:
    • Uploaded stamps can only be used by the user who uploaded them.
    • Uploaded stamps are static and cannot be edited.
  • Image Requirements:
    • The file must be in JPG or PNG format.
    • The minimum dimensions for the file are 500 by 500 pixels.

Steps

  • Add a Customized Stamp. Follow these steps if you want to create a new customized stamp.
    OR
  • Rename a Customized Stamp. Follow these steps if you want to rename an existing customized stamp.
    OR
  • Delete a Customized Stamp. Follow these steps if you want to delete an existing customized stamp.
    Note: Deleting a stamp only removes it from your list of stamps and does NOT remove it from submittal attachments where the stamp was used previously.

Add a Customized Stamp

  1. Navigate to the project's Submittals tool. 
  2. Click View next to a submittal that you are currently the Ball In Court for.
  3. In the 'Submittal Workflow' table, click Open next to a PDF attachment.
  4. Click the icon or press S on your keyboard and click +New.

  5. In the 'Add Submittal Stamps' window, upload the file for the stamp by clicking Attach File(s) or dragging and dropping the file from your computer.
     Tip
    If you have multiple stamps you will be using on the same Procore project, you can upload their files all at the same time.
  6. Click Okay.

Rename a Customized Stamp

  1. Navigate to the project's Submittals tool. 
  2. Click View next to a submittal that you are currently the Ball In Court for.
  3. In the 'Submittal Workflow' table, click Open next to a PDF attachment.
  4. Click the icon or press S on your keyboard and click Edit.

  5. Click in the box with the stamp's name that you want to edit.

  6. Enter a new name for the stamp.
  7. Click Done.

Delete a Customized Stamp

  1. Navigate to the project's Submittals tool. 
  2. Click View next to a submittal that you are currently the Ball In Court for.
  3. In the 'Submittal Workflow' table, click Open next to a PDF attachment.
  4. Click the icon or press S on your keyboard and click Edit.

  5. Click the icon-delete-trash4.png icon on the stamp you want to delete.
    Note: Deleting a stamp only removes it from your list of stamps and does NOT remove it from submittal attachments where the stamp was used previously.
