Update the Status of an Observation

Objective

To update the status of an observation.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions
  • To update the status of any Observation:
    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Observations tool.
  • To update the status of an Observation you created:
    • 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Observations tool.
  • To update the status of an Observation assigned to you or a member of your company:
    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Observations tool with the 'Update Status and Comment on Observations Assigned to Users within Same Company' granular permission.
      Note: Users with this set of permissions can only update a status to 'Ready for Review'
• Additional Information
  • The following statuses are available:
    • Initiated
    • Ready for Review
    • Not Accepted
    • Closed

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Observations tool.
2. Click View next to the observation you want to update.
3. Click Change Status.
4. Select the status.
5. Click Update Status.
