Retrieve Files or Folders from the Project Level Documents Tool's Recycle Bin

Objective

To retrieve a file or folder from the Project level Documents tool's Recycle Bin.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Admin' permissions on the project's Documents tool
    Note: A user with 'Standard' or 'Read Only' permissions to the Documents tool can view the contents of the Recycle Bin if the 'See Recycle Bin' granular permission is enabled on their permission template.
• Additional Information:
  • Any files or folders that are deleted in the Documents tool are added to the Recycle Bin. Files cannot be deleted from the Recycle Bin.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Documents tool.
2. Click Recycle Bin.
3. Mark the checkboxes next to the documents you want to retrieve.
4. Click the Move To    icon.
   Note: You can also right-click on the selection to access this action. 
5. In the Move window, select the folder you want to move the documents to.
   Note: If necessary, use the arrows to navigate to the folder.
6. Click Move.
   Note: The documents will be moved to the selected folder.
7. Optional: If you want to download the files to your computer, click the Download    icon while the files are selected.
