The Android device Viewer provides a centralized way to manage document-related items in the field. By pinning items, immediate spatial context is provided for project issues, ensuring that markups and pins are displayed with item-specific icons and status-driven colors.
Permissions: Must have the ability to add markups to Document Management workflows to utilize grouping features for more organized and efficient reviews.
Workflow Independence: These pins are managed separately from those created within a formal Review Workflow. For more information, see Comment Register.
Viewing Details: For Coordination Issues, tap the chevron
on the item card to view details without leaving the drawing.
To pin an item to a document on an Android device, perform the following steps:
Open the Procore app on an Android device.
Navigate to the Document Management tool and tap to open a drawing.
Tap the Connected Items
in the viewer's navigation menu.
Link an Existing Item to the Drawing:
Select Coordination Issues or Observations from the list.
Tap the + Pin button on the specific item card.
Tap the document to anchor the pin.
(Optional) Select the pin and create a markup to associate visual feedback with the item.
Create a New Item and Pin Location:
Tap the plus + icon at the top of the Connected Items
panel.
Tap the document where the new issue or observation is located.
Enter the necessary information in the form and tap Create.
