Edit a Crew

Objective

To modify a crew in the project’s Crews tool.

Background

Use the steps below when you want to modify an existing crew.  You can add or remove members. You can also change the designated crew lead.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Crews tool.
    OR
  • 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Crews tool and you must be designated as the crew lead. 

     Note

    • To see workers added to a specific project:
      • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Crews tool.
        OR
      • 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Crews tool AND 'Read Only or 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Directory tool with the 'Create Contacts' granular permission enabled on your permission template.
    • To see all workers across all projects, 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Crews tool, 'Read Only' or above on the Company Directory tool, and the configure setting "Can company employees be tracked on all projects?" enabled in the Company level Timesheets tool.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project’s Crews tool.
2. Locate the crew you want to modify in the 'Crew List'.
3. Click Edit.
   
4. Modify the crew information in the 'Edit Crew Members and Crew Lead' window.
5. Click Save.
