Add Notes to the Bid List

Objective

To add notes to the bid list. 

Things to Consider

Steps

 Important
If your project has been updated to the new bid management experience, see the Bid Management Enhanced Experience section below. Otherwise, follow these steps.
  1. Navigate to your project's Bidding tool. 
  2. Open the bid package.
  3. In the row of the company you want to add a note to, hover in the Notes column and click the + icon.

  4. Enter your note. To save the note, click out of the text box or press ENTER on your keyboard.

 

For Projects on Bid Management Enhanced Experience

  1. Navigate to your project's Bidding tool. 
  2. Open the bid package. 
  3. Hover over the 'Notes' column for the company and click Add Note

  4. Enter your note. 
    Tip! You can expand the text box to make it larger if necessary.
  5. Click Add Note to save the note. 
    If you need to edit or delete the note, see the steps below. 

Edit a Note

  1. Click on the note in the 'Notes' column. 
    Notes are shown in the side panel. 
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the note you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit
  4. Edit the text as necessary.
  5. Click Save

Delete a Note

  1. Click on the note in the 'Notes' column. 
    Notes are shown in the side panel. 
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the note you want to edit.
  3. Click Delete.
    The note is automatically deleted.
