Procore

2020

Below are the notable changes to the Project level Admin tool in 2020.

Configurable PDFs added to Inspections (11/3/2020)

Procore has released an update that gives users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool the ability to configure PDFs for the Inspections tool. Users can configure PDFs to make certain items visible, collapse sections, and show status changes to activities. See Configure Settings for Exporting Inspections as PDFs.

New Project Level Language Selection (9/1/2020)

Procore has released a new setting that allows users with the appropriate permissions to select the language they want an individual Procore project to be displayed in. Previously, in order to change a project's language, users needed to request the change from their Procore point of contact. Now a project's language can be selected by users with the appropriate permissions to create new projects or to update existing projects. See Create a New Project. On existing projects, this setting is managed in the 'General' tab under the Project Settings in the Project level Admin tool. See Update General Project Information.

New Required Project Fields (4/27/2020)

The fields 'total value', 'start date', and 'completion date' are now required for all new and existing Procore projects. See Update General Project Information.

Ability to Set Working Days for Projects (3/9/2020)

Procore has released the Working Days functionality that allows users with 'Admin' permissions in the Project level Admin tool to define which days of the week are considered working days of the project. Non-working days will be excluded when calculating the due date of an item. See Set Project Working Days.

Working Days will affect the due dates of items in the following tools:

  • Observations
  • Punch List
  • RFIs
  • RFQs created from Change Events
  • Submittals
  • Tasks
