Manage Your Inbox for Workforce Planning

Objective

To manage your Inbox for messages sent in Workforce Planning.

Background

You can send messages to people that you manage in Workforce Planning. You can also use the steps below to reply to messages, as well as to view, star (favorite), archive, and delete messages.

Steps

To a view message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
    Note: The Messages tool opens to your Inbox.
  3. Click the message to view.
    You can see the message that was sent and any replies.

Star a Message

To star a message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
    Note: By default, Messages opens to your Inbox.
  3. Click the star icon-star-wfp.png icon for the message you want to favorite.

Reply to a Message

To reply to a message from Workforce Planning, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
    Note: By default, the Messages tool opens to your Inbox.
  3. Click the message to reply to.
  4. In the text box, enter your reply.
  5. Click Reply to send the message.
    Notes:
    • If the original message had the checkbox marked 'All Users Can See This Message', your reply will also be visible to all users.
    • Replies can be seen in your Inbox or the Sent section of the Messages tool. See Manage Sent Messages for Workforce Planning.

Archive a Message

To archive a message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
    Note: By default, the Messages tool opens to your Inbox.
  3. Click the message to archive.
  4. Click Archive.
    Note: Archived messages are listed in the 'Archived' section of the Messages tool. See Manage Archived Messages for Workforce Planning.

Delete a Message

To delete a message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
    Note: By default, the Messages tool opens to your Inbox.
  3. Click the message  to delete.
  4. Click Delete.
 Caution
Deleted messages are permanently removed from Workforce Planning. They cannot be recovered by Procore.
