Delete Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning

Objective

To delete permissions templates for Workforce Planning.

Background

In Procore, role-based permissions are used to manage user access to different Procore tools. In Workforce Planning, you can create permissions templates, to give access to different actions within the Workforce Planning tool. You can delete those templates at any time.

Note: Permissions templates in Workforce Planning are distinct from the permission templates in Procore's Company and Project level tools. For more information, see Create a Company Permission Template and Create a Project Permissions Template.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
    OR
    'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with 'View Permissions Settings' and 'Edit Permissions Settings' granular permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. 
• Additional Information
  • You can only delete a permissions template if no users are assigned to the template.
  • The 'Admin' template cannot be edited or deleted.
  • Permissions templates in Workforce Planning are distinct from the permission templates in Procore's Company and Project level tools. For more information, see Create a Company Permission Template and Create a Project Permissions Template.

Prerequisites 

• Reassign all users with the permission template you want to delete to another permission template.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
2. Click the Configure Settings  icon.
3. Click Permissions.
4. Locate the permissions template that you want to edit and click Delete.
5. Click Delete.
