Configure Sensitive Fields for Resource Planning
Objective
To configure sensitive fields for Resource Planning.
Background
When adding people or projects to Resource Planning, you can create custom fields to store relevant information. Some information may be sensitive and not suitable for all users. To address this, you can designate certain fields as sensitive, making them visible only to users with the appropriate permission level. See Create Permissions Templates for Resource Planning.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- Some default fields that can be set as sensitive fields. See What is a 'sensitive field' in Resource Planning?
- Any custom fields created for people and projects can be set as sensitive fields. See Configure Custom Fields for Resource Planning.
Steps
- Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
- Click the Configure Settings
icon. - Click Permissions.
- Locate the 'Sensitive Fields' section.
- Under 'People Fields', mark the checkboxes for the sensitive fields relating to people.
- Under 'Project Fields', mark the checkboxes for the sensitive fields relating to projects.
- Click Save.
