Add or Remove Assignments from Categories

You can add your assignments to project categories to organize your work on the Resource Planning Gantt.

• Create and Manage Categories in Resource Planning

You can take this action from the following places:

• Assignments Gantt (Beta)

• Assignments List

1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

2. Click Assignments and select Gantt (Beta).

3. On the grid side of the page, locate the assignment.

4. Take one of the following actions:

   • To add it to a category, click and hold the assignment. Move the assignment to hover over the category, or location in the category using a drag-and-drop operation.

   • To remove it from a category, click and hold the assignment. Move the assignment to hover over the project name using a drag-and-drop operation.

1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

2. Click Assignments and select Assignments List.

3. Hover over the assignment row and click the edit  icon.

4. Update the category.

   • Select the new Category.

   • Click X next to the selected category to remove the assignment.

5. Click Update.
