ERP Integrations: Errors Processing Requests

Incident Overview

There was a recent incident involving Procore's integrations with Sage 300 CRE®, Sage 100 Contractor®, and QuickBooks® Desktop that may have caused duplicate export requests to be sent to some clients’ accounting systems on October 21, 2022. In many cases, those duplicated exports have failed due to duplication control in your accounting system. However, some duplicated entries may have successfully processed.

When the request-processing errors were discovered on October 21, Procore’s development teams immediately investigated the situation, and attempted to find a means to correct them automatically. They were unable to find a reliable automated method for correction, and so some manual corrections may be required.

Procore's ERP teams are currently working to reach out to all affected clients with detailed instructions for remediation. In the meantime, if you notice duplication of items sent by Procore, please refer to the integration specific information below.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Sage 300 CRE®

Budgets/Budget Modifications/Approved Estimate Changes

Budget modifications are the most likely items to have been affected in this incident, because there are no duplication controls for these objects in Sage 300 CRE®. Fortunately, they are also very easy to reverse in Sage 300 CRE® by following the steps in the knowledge base article below:

Although it is unlikely that Original Budget Amounts will be affected, it is important to double check totals on any affected project.

Other affected items

We do not expect there to be any duplicates of Commitments, CCOs, Original Estimate amounts, Jobs, or PCCOs since Sage 300 CRE® would automatically reject them. However there is a chance that you may have deleted the information from Sage 300 CRE® between the time that the initial item was exported and when the duplicate export happened on October 21. It is recommended you confirm that items intended for deletion have not been re-created during this incident.

Sage 100 Contractor®
