Add New Project Dates

Objective

To create a list of custom project dates for a company account in order to display key project dates on a project's Home page.

Background

With the company's Admin tool, you can create a standardized list of project dates in your company's account. Then, when configuring a project's Home page, you can assign a calendar date to each 'Project Date'. These dates will then display on the 'Project Dates' area of the Project Home page. This feature keeps your project team members informed of important events and project targets. 

 Project Overview - In Beta
Some customers might have the Project Overview Beta experience instead of Project Home. Project Dates are available on the Project Overview page too. In Project Overview, Project Dates are found in Project Details under 'Additional Dates'.

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate to the company's Admin tool.
  2. Under 'Project Settings', click Dates.
  3. Click Create a Date.
  4. Enter the date name.
    Optional: For users in the Project Overview beta, you can mark the checkbox to make the new date available on the Project Overview screen for your projects.
  5. Click Create.

Notes:

Repeat the steps above for all the desired project dates.
When you're done creating project dates, you can continue with Add Project Dates to the Project Home Page.
