Getting Started with the Procore Insights Pilot

The information listed on this page details the pilot release version of Procore Insights and is subject to change. The Procore Insights pilot is currently supported in the Account Home and Budget tools only. Users must opt-in to the pilot in order to view insights.

To opt-in to the Procore Insights pilot program.
Background
Users must opt-in to the Procore Insights pilot in order to view insights in the Account Home, Project Home, and Budget tools.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool.
Prerequisites
A company and project may be eligible to see both insight types, only one or the other, or neither.
To be eligible to see general conditions insights, companies must meet certain requirements:
- Must be a US-based General Contractor.
- Financials and direct costs are used for general conditions.
To be eligible to see RFI insights, companies must meet certain requirements:
- Must be a US-based General Contractor or Owner
- Must have a minimum of 400 total RFIs across all projects
- To avoid impact on load times, must have fewer than 40k cost codes
- To avoid impact on load times, must have fewer than 1800 projects with an RFI and fewer than 90,000 total RFIs across all projects
- Must have completed a minimum of five projects
- RFIs must meet certain thresholds for categorizing according to our topic and category algorithms:
- <44% with unknown category
- <14% with unknown topic
- Minimum 83 topics
Note
Government projects and companies that have excluded their data for Machine Learning purposes are not eligible.
Steps
- Log in to Procore, select a project and navigate to the Account Home tool. A card displays in the side panel with the offer to participate in the pilot.
- Click Join the Pilot.
- Complete the participation agreement.
privacy Settings
You can adjust the permissions on the pilot using the check box on the modal to either allow or not allow project administrators to view the insights. If not selected, only company administrators will see insights. If selected, project administrators will also be able to see insights on the projects they have access to, including historical data on projects they may not have been a participant on. Project admin users will not have access to portfolio level insights shown on Account Home, even when given access to project level insights.
