Change Your Avatar or Profile Photo in MyProcore

To upload a personal avatar or profile photo in MyProcore. 


An avatar is a profile photo that appears next to names of in MyProcore, the Company and Project level Directory tools, and in the top-right corner of Procore's navigation bar.  Although adding an avatar/profile photo is not required, you have the ability to choose whether or not to upload an avatar of photo using the Steps below. 

Things to Consider

  • Requirements:
    • An active Procore user account
  • Additional Information:
    • You can upload, change, or a remove an avatar or profile photo only for your Procore user account. You cannot perform these actions for other users.
  • Supported Image Formats:
    • Bitmap (.bmp)
    • GIF (.gif)
    • JPEG (.jpg and .jpeg)
    • TIFF (.tif and .tiff)
    • PNG (.png and x-png)
  • Recommended Image Dimensions:
    • For best results, upload an image that is 300 x 300 px or smaller. Uploading an image that does not meet the recommended dimensions can resulted in image distortion. 


  1. Complete the steps in Sign In to MyProcore.
  2. Click My Settings.
    This opens the My Account Settings page.
  3. Click Profile.
    This opens the Profile page.
  4. Choose one of these options in the Profile Picture box:


    • Click Attach File. Then select the desired photo to upload.
    • Use a drag-and-drop operation to move a file from your network or computer to the Profile Picture box.
  5. Click Update.
    The system saves your new avatar.
