Construction Platform Release Notes
Below are notable changes for the Procore web application for the week ending Friday, February 21, 2020.
Core Tools
App Management
Componentized Apps and Improved Third Party Access Control
- Componentized Apps allow Procore customers to install one App to their Procore account, regardless of the App's capabilities. Previously, Apps published on the Procore App Marketplace were characterized as either a data connection App or an embedded App. Because of this distinction, customers were required to install two Apps to cover both cases. With the new App Management release that is no longer the case and customers only need to install one App to handle data connection and embedded usage.
- Company Admins can now install more types of Apps directly from the Procore App Marketplace.
- Procore customers can log in to their Procore account directly from the Procore App Marketplace.
- App users can view App setup instructions on the App Management page.
- Company Admins can control whether their users can allow data access to third-party Apps.
