Summary of New & Upcoming Granular Permissions for Procore's Construction Financials Tools

In recent weeks, Procore has released several new granular permissions for the tools in our Construction Financials product line. Granular permissions allow you to assign specific task privileges to new or existing permission templates (see What is a permission template?) created in the Company Directory tool. They allow you to add task privileges normally reserved for users with 'Admin' or 'Standard' level permissions to user with 'Standard' or 'Read-Only' permissions.  They also allow you to remove certain task privileges from users with 'Standard' or 'Read Only' permissions.

For those who are not familiar with updating permission templates, when you add a granular permission to permission template and attempt to save it, you will be presented with the option to apply the new settings to the users who are already assigned to that template (see Edit a Permission Template in the Company Directory). Tip! If you want to find out which users have not been assigned a permission template, follow the steps in Download a Template Assignment Export (CSV) and then sort the list by the Template column. 

What are the granular permissions for Financials?

Below is a comprehensive summary of the granular permissions that have been added to the permission templates feature in the Company Directory to support Procore's Construction Financial Tools:
