New Granular Permissions for the Observations Tool!
With the new granular permissions for the Observations tool, you can grant users the ability to view and respond to observations that have been assigned to other team members within the same company. This permission applies to both non-private and private observation items. You can also grant team members the ability to assign Standard level users to Observations
Set your Granular Permissions
Procore Admin users can now grant team members two granular permissions related to the Observations tool:
- View private Observations assigned to users within same company: This permission grants a user the ability to view all observation items assigned to colleagues within their same company This includes observation items marked as 'Private.'
- Update status and comment on Observations assigned to users within same company: This permission grants a user the privilege to respond to observation items assigned to other users within the same Procore company account. This includes observation items marked as 'Private.'
- Can Assign Standard Users to Observations: This permissions grants a user the ability to assign observations to Standard level users.
