Renamed the 'Site Instructions' Tool to 'Instructions' Tool

Procore is pleased to announce a tool's name change. The Project level 'Site Instructions' tool has been renamed the 'Instructions' tool. Procore developed the 'Instructions' tool in close collaboration with Procore customers in Australia and New Zealand. After its first year since deployment, the tool is now also used by customers in Canada. To better accommodate our growing number international client's customization requirements, Procore has made the following updates on the Instructions tool:

  • Renamed the Tool. The name change from 'Site Instructions' to 'Instructions' more appropriately reflects that the tool now accommodates our international customer's needs to manage more than one (1) instruction type.
  • Added Customized Instruction Types. Project teams can now tailor each project's environment to include as many custom instruction types as required, including client instructions, site instructions, and more.
  • Defined Customized Instruction Type Prefixes. To help team members quickly identify and filter instructions in the tool by type, users now create a customized alphanumeric prefix to help your project team with type identification. Users can also filter the List tab in the Instructions tool by type (i.e., architect instructions (AI), client instructions (CI), site instructions (SI), and so on).
