Directory: Use Asterisk (*) and Exact Match (" ") Advanced Search Characters in Queries

Procore has updated the search feature in the Project (and (coming soon!) Company) Level Directory tools to provide users with expanded search capabilities using a wildcard character. Here's a summary of with the wildcard characters that can now be used with the Directory search feature. These characters can be used in all of the tabs on the Directory tool.

  • Asterisk (*): Add an asterisk (*) to the end of the search term(s) to search for a word or phrase that contains part of a term (for example, Procor*)
  • Exact Match (" "): Place quotation marks around the search term(s) to search for an exact word or phrase (for example, “Field Productivity”).
