New 'View Payment Application Detail' Granular Permission

Updated the Company level Directory tool to add a new ‘View Payment Application Detail’ granular permission for the Prime Contract tool. This is visible and available to all Procore users and will have slightly different impacts, depending upon whether the 'Payment Application Configurable PDF/COIL/Grouping' Beta is active on the user’s project.

How does this impact users of the Prime Contract tool?

IMPORTANT! 

  • Users with ’Read-Only’ or ‘Standard’ level permission on the Prime Contract tool will NOT be able to view the Detail tab on a payment application unless they are explicitly granted this granular permission in a permission template. 
  • For existing permission templates. By default, the Prime Contract ‘View Payment Application Detail’ granular permission will be automatically enabled on all permission templates in your existing Procore projects.
  • For new permission templates (i.e.,  those created after the release), your Procore Administrator must explicitly enable the granular permission to provide users with the ability view the Detail tab on a payment application.

How will this impact users of the Prime Contract tool during the Beta program?
