Directory: New Bulk Actions Drop-Down Menu

Announced: October 29, 2018

Released: October 31, 2018

Directory: New Bulk Actions Drop-Down Menu

Procore is updating the Directory tools to add a new Bulk Actions drop-down list at the top of the Users view.  This new list replaces the Inactivate and Remove User buttons that were available in previous versions to make the user interface consistent with the design of the Bulk Actions menu in other tools (e.g., Submittals). The new drop-down menu offers the exact same functionality as the buttons that were released in August 2018.

  • Bulk Actions > Inactivate in the Company Directory. Added a new Bulk Actions > Inactivate menu option which will appear when you select one (1) or more check boxes next to the Name column in the Users view. The menu is also available in the Companies view when you select one (1) or more Name check boxes. This drop-down is only available to end users who have been granted 'Admin' level permission on the Company Directory (a.k.a., a Procore Administrator).
  • Bulk Actions > Remove from Project in the Project Directory. Added a new Bulk Actions > Remove User from Project menu option which will appear when you select one (1) or more check boxes next to the Name column in the Users view. This drop-down is only available to end users who have been granted 'Admin' level permission on the Project Directory.

Important! It does NOT matter whether the user account reactivation task is completed by a Procore Administrator on the Company Directory or by a user with 'Admin' level permission on the Project Directory. The reactivation steps at both levels have the same result--the user account is reactivated in the Company Directory and project access permission is reinstated in all Project Directories to which the user had previously been granted access.
