Admin: (Coming Soon!) Manage Account Administrators and Executive Sponsors

Add & Remove Account Administrators and Executive Sponsors

Procore will soon release the ability to manage Account Administrators and Executive Sponsors. As part of this release, these fields will be moved from Account Information to a new section in General Settings. This will allow users with 'Admin' level permissions on the company's Admin tool to add and remove executive sponsors and account administrators for the company.

 Note
  • Only one Account Administrator or Executive Sponsor can be added at a time.
  • Any user can be selected as an Account Administrator or Executive Sponsor.
  • A user can be flagged as both an Executive Sponsor and an Account Administrator.
  • There is no limit on how many Account Administrators and Executive Sponsors a company can have.

Add an Account Administrator

  1. Navigate to the company's Admin tool.
  2. Under 'Company Settings,' click General Settings.
  3. Scroll to Account Administrator.
  4. Select a user from the drop-down menu.

    Notes: 
    • The drop-down menu will include all active users from the Company Directory.
    • If the user is already selected as an Account Administrator, the user's name cannot be selected again.
  5. Click Add Account Administrator.

Remove an Account Administrator

  1. Click on the remove icon-info.png icon across from the user's name on the rightmost side of the table.

    Note: If only one user is designated as the Account Administrator, the role must be assigned to another member of the team from the 'Delete Account Administrator' modal before the user can be removed.
  2. (Optional) Select another user from the Account Administrator drop-down menu on the 'Delete Account Administrator' modal.
  3. (Optional) Click Reassign Account Administrator from the 'Delete Account Administrator' modal.

Add an Executive Sponsor

  1. Navigate to the company's Admin tool.
  2. Under 'Company Settings,' click General Settings.
  3. Scroll to Executive Sponsors.
  4. Select a user from the drop-down menu.
    Notes: 
    • The drop-down menu will include all active users from the Company Directory.
    • If the user is already selected as an Executive Sponsor, the user's name cannot be selected again.
  5. Click Add Executive Sponsor.

Remove an Executive Sponsor

  1. Click on the remove icon-info.png icon across from the user's name on the rightmost side of the table.
    Note: If only one user is designated as the Executive Sponsor, the role must be assigned to another member of the team from the 'Delete Executive Sponsor' modal before the user can be removed.
  2. (Optional) Select another user from the Executive Sponsor drop-down menu on the 'Delete Executive Sponsor' modal.
  3. (Optional) Click Reassign Executive Sponsor from the 'Delete Account Administrator' modal.
