Add Classification for Labor/Workers

Admin users can now enter a list of classifications for your laborers or workers into Procore so that you can better capture classification of your workforce when entering timesheets. Classifications are created at the Company Level Admin tool, under Classifications.

Why is this important?

Tracking labor classifications is important because employees (union or not) need to be paid their appropriate wages. This release enables Specialty Contractors to accurately designate their workers into different levels of labor (journeyman, apprentice, operator, etc). Capturing this information on Timesheets will simplify the payroll process when Timesheet data is exported into payroll systems where pay rates are applied.
