Search for Folders and Files (iOS)

Objective

To search for files or folders in a project's Documents tool using an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Read Only' or higher permissions on the Documents tool.
    Note: You will only see search results for documents that you have permissions to view.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Documents tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
2. Above the folder structure, tap the Search field.
3. You can either search for folders, or files within a folder:
   • To search folders:
     • Enter the search term you want to search folder names for.
     • Tap Search to initiate the search.  
       
   • To search files and folders within a folder:
     1. Tap the folder you want to search for documents in.
     2. Enter a search term in the search bar.
     3. Tap Search to initiate the search.
