View Document Management Files in a Correspondence Item (iOS)

The Document Management tool is available in select countries. It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.
Objective
To view Document Management files in a correspondence item on the Procore iOS app.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- You must be part of the correct Document Management tool permission group. See How do permissions work in the Document Management tool?
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the correspondence type.
Note: Depending on the correspondence item's status and privacy settings, users may also need to be assigned specific roles or granular permissions in order to view the item.
- Additional Information:
- If you don't have permission to an attached file, please contact the creator of the correspondence so that they can assign you to the correct Document Management permission group.
Steps
Tip
If you can access the correspondence email from Procore on your device, tap the View in Procore link to automatically open the correspondence item in the Procore app and view the attachments.
- Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
- Tap the project's Correspondence tool.
- Find the correspondence item that you want to view.
- Go to the 'Attachments' section to view all documents that have been attached.
Optional: Tap See All to view all the item's attachments in a list format and search by file name, format, or when a file was last modified.
- To open a document, tap the file name.
This opens the document in the viewer. If there are multiple attachments, you can use the arrow keys or swipe to view the next document.
- Optional: If you want to share the document, use the share icon on your device.
