To sync and download documents from the Document Management tool on the Procore iOS app.
The first time that you open a document in the Procore iOS app, it will sync to your device so that it can be quickly accessed at any time, even while in offline mode. Or you can manually sync individual documents or saved views without opening them.
To make sure you always have access to the newest version of your documents before you go offline, use the Sync button to bulk-sync all your documents at once.
If you want to save a file to your device so it's accessible to you outside of Procore, you can use the "Save to Files" option. Currently, only documents without markup can be downloaded.
Choose from the following sync methods to make documents available in offline mode:
Tap the download
icon next to the saved view that has the documents you want synced.
Note: Saved views are listed under the bolded collection names on the main screen of the Document Management tool.
All documents within the saved view automatically sync to your device for offline use, and the download
icon changes to a check mark
.
If you no longer need to access a certain synced document, you can un-sync it. This can free up space, but the document will need to sync again the next time you open it.
If you want to save a document to your device's files to open outside of the Procore app, you can download the actual file from the Document Management tool.
