Add Records to Action Plan Items (iOS)

Objective
To add records to items from other tools to action plan items on an iOS mobile device.
Steps
- Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
- Tap the project's Action Plans tool.
- Tap the action plan you want to add records to.
Note: Action plans that are in 'Edit' mode have 'Awaiting Changes' banners in the action plans list view.
- Tap the item you want to add records to.
- Next to the record type you want to add, tap +Add.
- For Correspondence, Forms, Inspections, Meetings, or Observations:
- If the record does not yet exist, tap Create New.
Note
Only users with the appropriate permissions for the Project level tool can create the new record.
After tapping Create New, follow the steps for the corresponding tool:
- You will be directed to the project-level tool where you can create the record.
- Create the record.
- Tap Save.
- If the record already exists, tap Link [Tool].
- Tap the item(s) you want to link.
- Tap Save.
- For Submittals:
- Tap Link Submittal.
- Tap the item you want to link.
- Tap Save.
- For Photos:
- Tap the Camera icon to take a new photo with your device.
- Take the photo.
- Optional: To add markup, tap the Photo.
- Add markup.
- Tap Save Copy.
- Tap the X icon to add the photo(s) as a record.
- Tap the Library icon to select an existing photo from your device's library.
- Tap the photo you want to link.
- Optional: Add markup.
- Tap Save.
- For Documents and Attachments tap +Add next to 'Attachments'.
- Tap Upload File to attach a document from your device.
- Tap the file.
- Tap Documents from Procore to attach a document in Procore.
- Tap the document(s).
Notes:
- You can add individual documents, but you cannot add an entire folder of documents.
- Documents added as records reflect the version of the document at the time it was added as a record.
- Tap Done.
- Tap the X icon to return to the action plan.
