Create a Reinspection (Android)

Objective

To create a reinspection using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  •  'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Inspections tool.
  • 'Standard' level permissions on the Project level Inspections tool with the 'Create a Reinspection' granular permission. 
• Additional Information:
  • The inspection must be closed first. 
  • This action can also be performed while an active network connection is not available on your mobile device (offline mode). Tasks performed in offline mode will be synced with Procore after a network connection has been reestablished.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Inspections tool using an Android mobile device.
2. Tap to select the inspection that you want to edit.
3. Tap the ellipsis  icon.
4. Tap Reinspect.
   • This option is only visible to users with the 'Create a Reinspection' permission.
   • It will also not appear if the inspection has already been reinspected or if it is an invalid reinspection of a previous one.
5. A new 'child inspection' is created.
   • All line items carry over to the new inspection.
   • Line items that previously passed will retain their passed status.
