Integration by Ryvit: Sync a Prime Contract from Viewpoint® Vista™ to Procore

Objective

To sync a Viewpoint® Vista™ prime contract using the Integration by Ryvit. 

Background

The integration between your prime contract in Viewpoint® Vista™ is a one-way sync. This means that you can create a prime contract in Viewpoint® Vista™ and then import it into Procore with the Integration by Ryvit. You can then choose between (1) continuing by updating and maintaining your prime contract in Procore, or (2) updating and maintaining your prime contract in Viewpoint® Vista™ and then using the steps below to re-import your latest prime contract data into Procore. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Admin' level permission on the ERP Integrations tool.
      AND
    • 'Admin' level permission on the Project level Prime Contracts tool.
  • Prerequisites:
    The instructions below assume the following:
    • The Company level ERP Integrations tool has been configured to work with your company's Procore account. See Integration by Ryvit: Setup Guide.
    • The Viewpoint® Vista™ prime contract that you want to sync with Procore has been updated. For example, you've added one or more line item(s) or changed existing line item(s).
  • Additional Information:
    You will not be able to sync a prime contract when:
    • The prime contract is in unapproved state. 
    • The prime contract does not belong to a synced job.
    • The prime contract has inadvertently been added to two projects in your company's Procore account. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Company level ERP Integrations tool. 
    This reveals the Integration page.
  2. Click the Prime Contracts tab. 
  3. Click the Synced link in the right sidebar. 
  4. Locate the desired project's budget in the Viewpoint® Vista™ Prime Contracts Ready to be Imported list. 
  5. Click Re-Import. 
    Note: If this button is grayed out and unavailable, there are no new line items in the Viewpoint® Vista™ prime contract to import.
