What is the maximum character length for a commitment's 'Title'?

When Procore's Company level ERP Integrations tool (see ERP Integrations) is configured to work with an integrated ERP system, you can export commitments from Procore and then sync them with your integrated system. In past versions of Procore, the system limited the length of a commitment's 'Title' to 30 characters for all integrated ERP systems. This matched the limit set by Sage 300 CRE® and ensured that data from Procore would be successfully imported into Sage 300 CRE®. However, now that Procore integrates with additional ERP systems, the maximum character length for a commitment's 'Title' are:

The maximum character limit for the 'Title' field on a commitment is:

  • Integration by Ryvit. 60 characters maximum. This is the maximum allowable number of characters in Integration by Ryvit.
  • QuickBooks® Desktop. 255 characters maximum. Although QuickBooks® Desktop permits up to 4095 characters, 255 is the maximum allowable number of characters in Procore. 
  • Sage 100 Contractor®. 30 characters maximum. This is the maximum allowable number of characters in Sage 100 Contractor® and longer entries in Procore will be truncated by the export process.
  • Sage 300 CRE®. 30 characters maximum. This is the maximum allowable number of characters in Sage 300 CRE® and longer entries in Procore will be truncated by the export process.
  • Viewpoint® Spectrum®. 255 characters maximum. Although Viewpoint® Spectrum® does not impose a limit, 255 is the maximum allowable number of characters in Procore.
  • Acumatica Cloud ERP. 60 characters maximum. This is the maximum allowable number of characters in Acumatica Cloud ERP. 
  • Project Financials + Yardi Voyager®. 30 characters maximum. This limit is imposed by Yardi Voyager®.
  • Xero™. 255 characters maximum. Although Xero™ imposes a 4,000 character limit, 255 is the maximum allowable number of characters in Procore.
