What is a 'Draft' RFI?

In Procore, users with permission to create RFIs can create them in 'Draft' status.

For 'Admin' level users, or 'Standard' users with the 'Act as RFI Manager' granular permission:

What happens when I close a 'Draft' RFI instead of opening it?

The 'Closed-Draft' status is automatically assigned to RFIs when they are closed from a 'Draft' state. When you reopen a 'Closed-Draft' RFI, it will automatically shift back to 'Draft' status. The 'Closed-Draft' status is only applied in this scenario, and can't be manually assigned to an RFI.
