What do I need to consider when converting my change events to change events (next gen)?

Below are a list of things to take into consideration if you are switching from the Change Events to the Change Events (Nex Gen).

Prime Contract

1 Tier (Prime Contract Change Order - PCCO)
  • If the Cost Code and Cost Type on the Schedule of Values (PCCO) matches the Cost Code and Cost Type of the Scope Estimate Line Item (CE), Procore will link the two.
  • If no match is found, the Schedule of Values (PCO) will create a New Scope Estimate Line (CE) and automatically fill in the Cost Code and Cost Type.
2 Tier (Potential Change Order - PCO)
  • If the Cost Code and Cost Type on the Schedule of Values (PCO) matches the Cost Code and the Cost Type of the Scope Estimate Line (CE), Procore will match the two.
  • If no match is found, the Schedule of Values (PCO) will create a New Scope Estimate Line (CE) and automatically fill in the Cost Code and Cost Type.

Commitment Contracts

1 Tier (Commitment Change Order - CCO)
  • If the Cost Code and Cost Type on the Schedule of Values (CCO) matches the Cost Code and Cost Type on the Scope Estimate Line (CE), Procore will link the two.
  • If no match is found, the Schedule of Values (CCO) will create a New Scope Estimate Line (CE) and automatically fill in the Cost Code and Cost Types.
2 Tier (Commitment Potential Change Order - CPCO)
  • If the Cost Code and Cost Type on the Schedule of Values (CPCO) matches the Cost Code and Cost Type of the Scope Estimate Line (CE), Procore will link the two.
  • If no match is found, the Schedule of Values (CPCO) will create a New Scope Estimate Line (CE) and automatically fill in the Cost Code and Cost Type.

Request for Quote (RFQ)

  • If a CCO (CPCO) has been created from an RFQ and..
    • The CCO (CPCO) has one Schedule of Value Line Item, the RFQ is linked to the existing Scope Estimate Line (CE).
    • The CCO (CPCO) has a Schedule of Value Line Item whose amount matches the RFQ's "Last Quote Value," the RFQ is linked to the existing Scope Estimate Line (CE).
    • Neither of the above are true, the RFQ is linked to a New Scope Estimate Line (CE).

Budget Modifications (on Change Events)

  • If Cost Code and Cost Type in "To" field matches Cost Code and Cost Type of Scope Estimate Line (CE), a link will be established.
  • If Cost Code and Cost Type in "To" field DOES NOT match Cost Code and Cost Type of any Scope Estimate Lines (CE), a new Scope Estimate Line (CE) will be established.
    • Cost Code and Cost Type will be filled from Budget Modification "To" field.
