How do I create a Direct Cost column on a configurable budget for ERP integrated projects?

The Direct Cost source column on the configurable budget pulls from the project's Direct Costs tool. 

If your project is ERP integrated, perform the following steps to create a Direct Costs column on your configurable budget:

  1. Navigate to the company Admin tool.
  2. Click Budgeting Configuration.
  3. Click a view you want to add the Direct Cost column to.
  4. Click the Configure Columns button. 
  5. Click + Create Source Column or click Create in the top right corner and select Source.
  6. Type a name for your column (e.g. ERP Job to Date Costs). 
  7. Select ERP Job Costs as the Column Source.
  8. Mark the box next to "ERP Job to Date Costs."
  9. Click Create.
  10. Create another source column by clicking +Create in the top right corner and selecting Source.
  11. Type a name for your column (e.g. ERP Commitment Invoice.)
  12. Select ERP Job Costs as the Column Source. 
  13. Mark the box next to ERP Commitment Invoiced.
  14. Click Create.
  15. Click Create in the top right corner and select Calculated Column.
  16. Enter a name for the column (e.g. Direct Costs).
  17. For the calculation, select ERP Job to Date Costs (-) ERP Commitment Invoiced.
  18. If your budget view was created from the Procore Standard Budget template, you will also need to do the following:
    • Select Project Costs from the sidebar and update the calculation to change Direct Costs input to ERP Direct Costs.
    • Delete the existing Direct Costs source column. 
  19. Click Create. Your Direct Costs column will now show your ERP Direct Costs.
