How are task codes configured for time entry?

 

Background

Task codes consolidate Sub Job and Cost Code into a single field to simplify time entry in Timesheets and My Time. Data entered for task codes is automatically attributed to the correct Cost Code and Sub Job in your budget.

Answer

When enabled, task codes reflect your current settings for Timesheets and My Time fieldsets in the Company level Admin tool. Task codes can be required, optional, or hidden based on your Cost Code and Sub Job settings in the fieldsets applied to your projects:
