How are the new date columns in submittal custom reports calculated?

Background

On July 10th, Procore released an update that separates multiple approvers and ball in court assignees on individual submittals when grouping them (See Reports: Submittal Grouping Options). Along with this functionality, Procore has added new date fields you can use to report on your submittals. See below to learn how they are calculated.

Answer

  • Approver Due Date Variance
    • When a Submittal is Closed, this column is equal to Approver Return Date - Approver Due Date
    • When a Submittal is Open, this column is equal to Current Date - Approver Due Date
  • Approver Returned Date Duration
    • When as Submittal is Closed, this column is equal to Approver Returned Date - Approver Sent Date
    • When a Submittal is Open, this column is equal to Current Date - Approver Sent Date
  • Ball in Court Duration
    • When a Submittal is Closed, this column is equal to Ball in Court Received Date - Ball in Court Due Date
    • When a Submittal is Open, this column is equal to Current Date - Ball in Court Due Date
