Search for Specifications (iOS)

Objective

To use the Search bar to find a section or key word in the project's Specifications log.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' or higher permissions on the project's Specifications tool.

  • This asset or item can be viewed or edited in offline mode if it was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device. Tasks performed in offline mode sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Tap the search bar in the top of the Divisions section.

  3. Type in your key word.
  4. Tap Search on your keyboard. 
    Note: In the list below the Search Results section will be all of the spec sections that have the key word(s) in in the title or the text.
  5. Tap one of the sections to view all of the instances of the key word within the section.
  6. Tap the X in either or both search bars to exit out of the search.
