Download a File (Android)

Objective

To download a file in the project's Documents tool on an Android mobile device.

Background

Procore's Documents tool allows you to download files so that they can be accessed in Procore in offline mode.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permission: 'Read-only' or above on the Documents tool.

• This asset/item can be viewed or edited in offline mode provided that the asset/item was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device.

Prerequisites 

• Upload a File (Android)

Steps

1. Navigate the project's Documents tool on an Android mobile device.
2. Tap the file you want to download.
3. Tap vertical ellipsis (⋮).
4. Tap Download ().
   Note:  This action will automatically download the file to Procore and make it accessible in offline mode.
